David has a strong background in providing compassionate support to NDIS participants. Before stepping into this role, he worked for over two and a half years as a support worker, where he developed a keen understanding of the complex needs of individuals living with disabilities. David’s natural ability to connect with people has been invaluable in his work; it allows him to build trusting relationships and truly understand each participant’s unique support needs.
David takes a person-centred approach, prioritising each individual’s choice and control. By listening closely to what participants want and need, he tailors support to align with their personal goals and values. He is committed to fostering an environment where every participant feels heard and empowered to make decisions about their own lives.
David recently completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science, which aligns with his longstanding interest in human behaviour and mental health. His studies have equipped him with a deep understanding of the cognitive, emotional, and behavioural challenges that many people with disabilities may face. This knowledge enhances his ability to provide empathetic and informed support and helps him address the unique challenges participants encounter.
David is excited to bring his skills and passion to his role at Sage Support Coordination. He believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a fulfilling life, and he is dedicated to advocating for his participants to ensure they have access to the resources and support they need to thrive. David looks forward to helping participants achieve their goals, enhance their quality of life, and navigate their journeys with confidence and independence.
