Ebony has dedicated over a decade to working in the disability sector, holding various roles with adults, youth and children, working in support coordination for over 5 years. Ebony also has spent time volunteering in the lived experience space.
With her personal experience of disability and mental illness, Ebony has an insight into being on the other side of service delivery. This perspective has driven her passion for helping people navigate not just their everyday lives but also the complexities of the NDIS and its interaction with other service systems.
Ebony believes that good outcomes are the result of fostering positive, trusting relationships and she strives to tailor her approach to meet the unique needs of each individual with compassion, understanding and respect.
The mantra, “Nothing about me without me,” is central to Ebony’s approach. She is deeply committed to a person-centred practice grounded in principles of social justice. Ebony believes in ensuring that the individual’s voice remains at the heart of all decisions and that they are always acknowledged and valued as the true expert in their circumstances.
